Mc Gyver?

Believe it or not. This is RDA (Richard Dean Anderson) of the McGyver fame in 80s television. His show's got to be the reason why I love science - chemistry and physics. Wish we never grow old. Well...

Here is the opening of McGyver at the time when TV shows were really cool.

Fall Guy 1981-1986 (US)

Well, I'm not the kind to kiss and tell
But I've been seen with Farrah
I've never been seen with anything than a nine
So fine

I've been on fire with Sally Field
Gone fast with a girl named Bo
But somehow they did not end up as mine

It's a death defyin' life I lead
I take my chances
I die for a living in the movies and TV
But hardest thing I ever do
Is watch my leading ladies
Kiss some other guy
While I'm bandagin' my knee

I might fall from a tall building
I might roll a brand new car
'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman
That makes Redford such a star

I've never spent much time in school
But I've taught ladies plenty
It's true I hire my body out for pay (hey, hey)

I've gotten burned over Cheryl Tiegs
Blown up for Raquel Welch
But when I wind up in the hay,
It's only hay (hey, hey)

I might jump an open drawbridge
Or Tarzan from a vine
'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman
That makes Eastwood look so fine

God Only Knows - The Most Beautiful Love Song

I may not always love you
But long as there are stars above you
You never need to doubt it
I'll make you so sure about it
God only knows what I'd be without you

If you should ever leave me
Though life would still go on, believe me
The world could show nothing to me
So what good would living do me?
God only knows what I'd be without you

God only knows what I'd be without you

God only knows what I'd be without you

If you should ever leave me
Though life would still go on, believe me
The world could show nothing to me
So what good would living do me?

God only knows what I'd be without you.

(written by Brian Wilson and Tony Asher in 1966 for Beach Boys, performed by Brian Wilson and the Corrs for "her majesty" Reina Isabel II)

The Da Vinci Code is this decade’s literary Energizer bunny--a bestseller for the past 44 months which has to date sold 61 million copies worldwide. The paperback version of Brown’s other page-turner, Angels & Demons, has been a best seller for 23 months, Sony plans to bring it to the big screen by 2008. That was inevitable, given that this year’s film adaptation of The Da Vinci Code, starring Tom Hanks, was the year’s second-highest-grossing film, banking $756 million worldwide.
