Prosecutors in the Phil Spector murder case say that nearly two decades before the music producer pulled a gun on his girlfriend, he, well, pulled a gun on his girlfriend.
The Los Angeles County district attorney's office filed two motions in Superior Court Tuesday to try and allow testimony proffered by both an ex-girlfriend of Spector's and a member of Joan Rivers' security detail to be entered into evidence in order to establish a history of violent behavior toward the fairer sex.
As it is, Judge Larry Paul Fidler, who will hear the case, has already approved the prosecution's request to call four other women to testify that Spector threatened them with a firearm between 1998 and 1995.
Meanwhile, Devra Robitaille, who worked as an administrator at Warner Spector Records with the "Wall of Sound" creator during the '70s, before becoming his personal assistant a decade later, has claimed that the 66-year-old pulled a gun on her on not just one but two different occasions.
