Mary Conboy shows a selection of items, including baby wipes and shaving cream, she sends to Marines in Iraq, at her Philadelphia home Wednesday, May 16, 2007. Five days before her son, Adam Conboy, was killed in Iraq in May of 2006, the 21-year-old called his mother and asked that she send 40 sets of bed sheets over for him and his comrades. He told her of the rough sleeping conditions the soldiers endured and jokingly said, 'C'mon Mom, get Operation Bedding going.' Without realizing it, Adam had just set up his own memorial fund.
